when people think of the tokyo district of harajuku, they think of gothic lolitas, japanese girls who will get skin cancer from over tanning and want to be the best reggae dancer they can be, those poor girls gwen stefani kidnapped, and the craziest street fashion in the world. so then its no surprise that japanese label toga has their flagship store in this little corner of tokyo. okay i know there are some fall/winter 2007 balenciaga-ish thing going on in those chiffon dresses, but japanese kids have been doing that shit for years and unfortunately we in the west aren't exposed to all the other good stuff over there. i mean this shit makes me want to buy men's nono and smart magazines again to put an even bigger dent on my already getting absurdly high monthly magazine allowance.
